Terms of use

These terms govern access to vantapal, the editorial website at https://vantapal.world/. vantapal publishes travel field notes about Lower Saxony and Silver Marsh Germany. By using the site you accept these conditions. Last updated 30 August 2026.

Publisher

The publisher is vantapal, Am Meer 18, 31515 Wunstorf, Niedersachsen, Germany. Email: info@vantapal.world. Telephone: +49 5033 987210. vantapal is a content hub, not a tour operator, carrier or accommodation bureau. Nothing on vantapal.world is an offer to sell a journey, a ticket or a room. Licence to read

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to view the field notes for personal, non-commercial use. You may share a link to a page on https://vantapal.world/. You may not copy long extracts, scrape the site, republish photographs or text, or present vantapal’s work as your own without prior written consent from info@vantapal.world. Trademarks, place names and third-party marks remain with their owners. “Silver Marsh Germany” and “Zwischen Wiesen & Wasser” are editorial phrases used by vantapal to describe the landscape; they do not create extra rights for you.

Field notes are orientation, not a guarantee

Essays on Steinhuder Meer, Dümmer See, the Weser meadows, dike cycling, oak islands, northern towns and the five-day itinerary describe a landscape as vantapal observed it. Water levels, wind, bird disturbance rules, ferry hours, café seasons and path closures change. Distances and loop lengths are indicative. You remain responsible for checking official notices, weather, nature-reserve regulations and your own fitness before you go. vantapal does not accompany you in the field and does not accept bookings through this site.

Acceptable use

You must not attack, overload or probe https://vantapal.world/; insert malware; harvest addresses; or use the site to send unsolicited bulk messages. Automated collection that impairs the service is forbidden. Forms, including any seasonal-notes form posting to signup.php, may be used only with genuine contact details and only for the purpose stated. We may block access, ignore abusive mail to info@vantapal.world, and involve German authorities where criminal misuse is suspected.

Third-party services and links

Field notes may mention trains, buses, ferries, maps and reserves. Those services are provided by others. Outbound links, including telephone and messaging links in the footer, take you away from vantapal. We are not responsible for the availability, prices or privacy practices of destinations we do not operate. If you contact vantapal via a messenger, that messenger’s terms apply to the channel; our address for a written record remains info@vantapal.world and Am Meer 18, 31515 Wunstorf, Niedersachsen, Germany.

Liability

vantapal provides the site “as is”. We take care with editorial facts but we do not warrant that every path, timetable or opening hour is current. To the extent permitted by German law we exclude liability for ordinary negligence and for indirect loss, including lost travel plans or additional costs in the field. We do not exclude liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, or liability that cannot be limited under the German Civil Code or other mandatory rules. If you are a consumer in the EU, your statutory rights remain intact.

Privacy and cookies

Personal data is handled as described in the privacy policy. Browser storage used to hide the consent notice is explained in the cookie policy. Using vantapal after those documents are published constitutes notice of them. For questions, write to info@vantapal.world or call +49 5033 987210.

Changes

vantapal may update pages, withdraw essays or revise these terms when the publication or the law changes. The current version is always the one at https://vantapal.world/terms.php. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms, except where German law requires a different mechanism. If a clause is held invalid, the remainder stays in force.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules that would point elsewhere, and excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply if you qualify as a consumer. Where German procedural law allows a choice of venue for disputes with merchants, the courts at Wunstorf / the competent courts for 31515 Wunstorf, Niedersachsen, have jurisdiction. vantapal: Am Meer 18, 31515 Wunstorf, Niedersachsen, Germany · info@vantapal.world · +49 5033 987210.
